Default 1995 F150 4x4 CV Shaft installation HELP!!!

I had to replace my CV U-joint in my dana 44 TTB front end. I have everything apart and replaced the u-joint. Now I can not get the half shaft with the new u-joint thru the steering knuckle. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,
George

Are the end cap of the u-joint flush with the driveshaft and are the clips seated in the u-joint caps. I just did mine and had to clean were the caps seat in the shaft with a wire wheel and a die grinder. to remove the rust and build up. Also check which end cap is to high that some of the little needle bearings didn't fall over inside the cap.

Notch the hole in the knuckle where the caps hit. It should fit but sometimes they don't
