I need HELP. 4WD

The auto hubs are crap! The warn and milemarker are great hubs and when serviced properly will outlast the truck!
Easy to install and there's YouTube videos to show you how.
Wondertwin you can leave them locked and just shift your transfer case from 2hi to 4hi on the fly with no issues. Up here where we get a lot of snow it's common for a guy to leave them locked all winter.
Did this on my 92,93,95 f150s with warn hubs and never had a problem or a wore hub when I serviced them.

Once you take it all apart, down to the nut, throw it all(including but) away.

Take a couple mechanical picks. Full loop and 90* work fine. Take the cover off of your auto hubs. Spray brake clean all around between the hub and the rotor. There is a lock ring that sits in a groove on the rotor part of the contraption. Pull that out. Pull everything out you can. There's a C-clip on the spindle. Pull that out. There's a few washers. Pull those out. There's a lock clip on the nut. Pull that out. Finally. Take the nut off. This is the socket I used. Barely runs the inside.
After you have the nut off. Everything you just removed is junk when you put the new hubs on.
