Default Problem at the rear wheels

ok so i have a 93 f150 L6 but the PO had put on 98 16in rims, which i discovered was the damm noise i was hearing evrey time i shifted apparently he drilled the holes of the rims to make them fit on the truk, leaving me with ruined nuts and studs, now that today i replaced them and got a set of stokers i still feel like theres some movement on the rims is that an axle movement or should i chek something else??????

Bored out the lug holes in the rims... geezzz. But on the bright side... Well OK, there isn't much of a bright side. Except that you caught it before something really bad happened. Anyway, so you think you still feel something moving huh. Could be I suppose. I guess the first thing I'd do is pull the tires off, look in the lug nut holes of the wheels and look for any evidence of movement. Ummm, scrape marks on the brake drums, out of round lug nut holes from any wheel movement, etc. I'd also check out the axle bearings, springs, shocks, etc. The guy bored out the rim holes so who knows what else he did.

Did you change the studs? Maybe you didn't get them driven in all the way and they worked in some more.

i dont really want to knw jajaja but i had to trow evrething together today cuz its my daili driver so i need it to b ready 4 tomorow but next weekend im taking evrething apart again the lugs i ordered them and believe me they fitted perfect (busted my a** off just to put them in jajaja) the drums did have a lil bore damage to them but the way that im moving the tires dont think that migt be iff i pull the tire from the bottom and push at the top i hear and feel a clanking noise like it moved with the nuts on and torked

Having a hard time with that ^^^^^^. Which tire moved? Front or rear?

My text speak to english dictionary isn't as good as it used to be.. I'm even having a hard time with that post. I'd say just replace the studs and lugnuts if that is not what you said you did in your posts. I can sorta see that you put proper wheels on it. Also as suggested, check for scrapes and out of round lug holes.

jajajaj sorry im a 28 yr old puertorrican jajajaj so thats my typing accent jajaja ok again i replaced the studs and the nuts on both rear tires changed rims to factory and im still having a little movement on the rims after properly setting up the holes on the drums were a lil opened up but if everything is getting torqued properly that should'nt b a problem!!!

I figured that you were spanish speaking, but the wording seemed more like text speak to me. Anyways, i'm assuming you had the rear tire in the air off the ground, did the tire rotate when you were pushing and pulling on it? Or was it stationary and noticed physical movement between the rims and the lugs?

Another question: did you take for a test drive around the block after torquing everything to proper spec?

yes, i had it in the air, when i was done i lowered only one side to check on the worst side because it really had been moving around for almost a week ant thats when i felt it and heard it. But on my way to work today she was as smooth as a new car it was awesome when i got home i checked the nuts to see if they needed some more tork but they were perfect so well see!!!!!

If they were in the air when they moved, i'm guessing rotated, it was probably just the slack in your u-joints/gears. Nothing to worry about since you said that the ride to work was smooth and the lugs/wheels stayed on.
