Now on my 1990 f150 im replacing the drivers door. Now im taking all the parts off to put on the new door and im taking off the exterior door handle. Now I have it unbolted and cant get the rod that connects the door handle to the latch off. Their is almost no space. Now can someone give me some tips on how to take it off? Or some pictures on how to take it off since I cant find any other posts about this topic.....

 

there should be three bolts holding the latch that the rod is connected to. undo those so that the latch is loose and that should give you the room to pull the handle out further to get the rod off. be warned the plastic clips that hold in the rod tend to break but you should be able to replace it from a local body shop
