Brake Fluid Level Sensor - 1990 F150
Hello everyone, I recently replaced my master cylinder and the sensor that is up under it is not available at any parts store or at the dealer unless I buy an entire master cylinder.......somebody has to sell this somewhere, but I don't have a clue where to get it. My brake light was on and I unplugged it and it went off. Same thing after I replaced the reservoir and master cylinder.
Any thoughts?
This is where the wires plug right under the master cylinder reservoir. I'm assuming its to detect fluid level.

My float tends to get stuck after bleeding or working on the brakes, just tapping on the master cylinder will usually release the float and turn off the warning light.

Well, the problem started out with both the rear abs brake light popping on along with the brake light. I have new brakes on the front, bled the lines, new brakes on the back, new wheel cylinders on the back, new rear brake hose, new abs differential sensor, new master cylinder and everything was bled with fresh fluid until it came out clear. My rear abs light is still on along with the brake light. I unplugged the wire from the sensor and the brake light went off, but my abs light is still on, so I know further work is required. The only two things left to replace is the abs brake hydraulic unit and abs module.
Also, I didn't replace the booster, but it's on the list.
Any other suggestions?

This is the pattern I am thinking of following:
1. Bleed Rear Passenger's Side Wheel
2. Bleed Rear Driver's Side Wheel
3. Bleed Rear ABS Valve
4. Bleed Front Passenger's Side Wheel
5. Bleed Front Driver's side Wheel
Thoughts? Corrections? Any input is welcome.
