The best way is to get your static, extended and compressed measurements. If you can only get static, add 4-5" for travel each way, unless you have some crazy flex machine.

So, 16" static, + 5" travel = 21" extended and 11" compressed.

Thanks Trucknut,, yes I got underneath and measured from the original pivot to the new and its 4". JBGY sells a complete set of 6 (since I have duals up front) for $178 including boots. I also found a set of Skyjacker with boots for $210 to the front door.

Thats a good deal on the pro comps though, is it a superior shock? Doesn't include boots

There are so many to choose, I think I'm going for the least $$ best quality at this point. Pretty sure I want a hydro vs gas since I'd like to have a less bumpy ride.

This is going on the back burner right now anyway. Today I replaced the fuseblock cause the retaining clip for the blower/motor fuse contacts were broken by the PO so the fuse wouldn't make contact. Well that went good, pretty easy really, just go one for one. But then the blower motor still doesn't run. So I check for power at the motor, powers good. Check for ground, no ground. The thing finds the ground back through the fan switch when on high, through the resistor on other settings. So I pull the control out of the dash and find the connector going to the fan switch freakin melted in pieces. I'm tellin you the PO's were just ruthless with this truck!! I mean no mercy at all.

So off to the junkyard tomorrow in search of a pigtail.
