Default 95 f150 tune up help?

So My trucks running a little sluggish I was planing on Replacing the spark plugs and maybe the distributor cap and rotor. But I dont know how to replace the cap and rotor nor The spark plugs but it seems simple. How could i check if my plugs are foul or bad? Also should i replace the spark plug wires? and what are your favorite plugs you use?

not hard to do any of this at all..

change your cap and rotor, plugs and wires
also you should change your fuel filter, raditor flush if not to long ago.
clean air filter

the cap comes off with the two clamps on it and the rotor just pops of and replace.
make sure to keep the same order on the cap with 1 marked on it.
wires are simple, just change them one by one, and plugs are screwed on and off.

the best to put would be motorcraft.
if your not looking to spend a lot, i would say to buy motorcraft spark plugs, cap and rotor. but the wires are the most expensive.

Eazy peazy job.....stick with copper core plugs, don't let anyone try to sell you anything but. If we weren't 3 hours apart I'd be happy to show you. Good luck, any questions then just ask.

Investing in a Haynes or chilton book will help guide you. I've used mine many times.

Yeah stick to copper plugs. Motor raft cooper would be best.
Changed mine about 3 weeks ago. Cost me like 2.70 each

I've got a 95 xlt with the 5.0 EFI. The emissions sticker states to gap plugs from .052 to .056. If your emissions sticker is still visible I would go by whats on it. I also set my base timing at 14* BTDC with a msd blaster coil. Improve my power and mpg at the same time. Also check what plugs came stock in your motor. Mine came with motor craft platinum from factory. I didn't pay attention to this and bought a set of coppers at first that burn a little cooler than platinums. Man did it make the truck run rough.
