Theres 2 straps holding each tank on... If the bolts are super rusted you might try somehting like PB Blaster or any other penetrating oil. Undo all the fuel lines and wiring to the fuel pumps and it should come right out.

I dont know the bolt sizes.. ill be dropping mine this weekend.. if you havent done yours by then i can tell you.. It is pretty easy to drop.. ive never dropped one in a f150 but ive done alot of other tanks and looking at mine its going to be extremly easy compared to others..

Pretty much what 87f150 said.. but if you have floor jack i would put it up under the tank that way after you disconnect the straps and hoses it wont just fall on you.. and you dont have to fight with it

Putting it back on is the fun part lol.. but if you have some one to help its not that bad either..

Siphone it out.. or atleast as much as possible.. if you dont its just going to be harder to handle and you going to end up dumping it all on the ground and wasteing it..

yeah, i got it out. I had to use 1 hand size breaker bar with a 13mm/1/2 inch socket to hold the top of the bolt, and then a 15mm on the bottom with a 2 foot breaker bar. And then it just kinda wiggles out after you disconnect everything.
