Default Breakin into a 300 i6 (new to ford)

Hello I recently bought a 89 ford f150 with a 300i6 the truck was over heating and the guy said it had a hole in the thermostat housing and wasn't holding coolant also heater core was not working I get truck home and start working ,put new thermostat housing in to stop hole started truck up and runs nice but gets hot after I rev it up I can see water spitting out were it looks to be the exhaust manifold ? I also squeezed the top rad hose and looked at the rad it was bubbling out/down the side I also see white residue in my oil and smell gas. I take it the head gasket , cable cover gasket, and maby intake-exhaust manifolds will all need to be replaced. any input on what I should use before I start getting parts or input into is this worth fixing? I hear this motor is bullet proof

I would start with the intake manifold gasket.

first off, sounds like a head gasket.
second, could be just a cab swap, i can tell by the wing windows that the doors are off a 92+ truck( they have the thick bar between the wing and main glass. you cant put a ttb f250 axle under a f150 with out swaping out the cross members because the f250 cross member is wider.

and anyone that knows anything about the I6 would know why they kept it.

It's a 85 body on a 89 frame/running gear and no truck is not stolen just built from parts that were avil.

Thanks for input all but small details about body is not what I'm lookin for ....... I took off the intake manifold and it was cracked at both end bolts I'm goin to get new rad intake manifold + gasket and check the head too while I'm down in there also I will be taking the exhaust manifolds off Yo check as well I haven't made it that far tho. I guess I'm wondering what is some good cheap performance parts I can bolt on like headers intakemanifolds etc.? I don't have a big budget I'm only a young fella and I don't really know my way around a ford engine but so far so good thanks again

they dont make very many performance parts for the I6 but then again you cant perfect perfection anyways lol here is a lift of off the shelf perfornace mods

headers*** but the factory fuel injection manifolds are proven to flow better

metal timing gear set Cloyes Timing set * factory is a fiber plastic kind

msd ignition

and some one out there makes a cam

and i know some one will post cliford performance but they cater to carbed I6's and they are very proud of their stuff.
