Default Hollowing cats? E fans? Synthetic fluids? What else?

Ok i have a 1991 i6 300, and it runs pretty good, but i want a little more power, smoother engine performance, and higher mpgs. WHat all will hollowing out cats do? I want to do e-fans but its expensive, what other cars have e fans that will fit? Will seafoam and synthetic fluids increase these? Please let me know other ideas. I also thought of a timing bump, how much will that cost? Thanks in advance

Cats really nothing unless they are clogged, bump timing a couple of degrees, e-fan about $120. for fan\temp control, synthetics will find all leaks, I use Havoline 10-40 and still get about 6000 out of it, you might get a little increase plus a little mileage, the best thing to do is get a good exhaust.

Ok well i decided to lose the cats, go straight pipe to stock muffler for now till i get $$$ then get like a flowmaster or something similiar. Then how much will a timing bump cost at like a shop? Is it just bumping up the degree or do i have to buy new electric parts?

shouldnt cost more than 20 buck,,u can buy new coil, wires, cap, button and plugs but u dont have to
you will get better spark if u do depends on how long its been since u had an oil change

Default Pulleys or E Fans

Which is better? I have a donor Taurus with fans I could take off of but I'm uncertain abou the install? Which adds more power and mpg?

HaulnAss all deppend on condition of ur engine. but i think u can gain more horse power with pulleys than e-fan , but u can gain some more mpg. from e- fan too. but have to be carefull with under drive pulleys. ur might have some problems with charging
