Take some before and after's and in the process, but mostly the before and after's I'm sure it would look good, if done right, but not much room for an error

I was thinking drill your holes, then put a nice layer of silicone between them and put a brick on them or something. Then dump them into some kind of rubber safe laquor. But thats just me.

Woah be careful with hardware store bolts. Most are grade 3 or grade 5 at best. You need grade 8 bolts to hold your body to your frame especially if your adding stress buy lifting. Some hardware stores carry them just check what you are buying. Also I would recommend cad plated hardware so they won't rust in the bushing (hockey puck). Buy the way I used to build Zambonis, ever see one launch a puck? Its cool.

Okay, been looking at stuff. I forgot to mention grade 8. My bad. But what ive been seeing is about a 1/2" hole through the pucks with a piece if steel pipe in the holes as a reinforcment.

Lets be honest, this has to be better than the 1.5" wide hollow poly blocks that you pay $120 for. Right? My truck sees about 80% street and 20% offroad. I work on the air force base on a hay farm that has rough dirt roads, im kind if liking this idea. Do you hinestly think that those bolts would snap??? I know youve taken your frankentruck apart, is there enough room to go up a bolt size?

the factory bolts are like a 7/16 thread, and the nut is built into the washer on the bottom. when i did mine which is 2 inch lift my first time out i snapped BOTH front core support bolts and they were grade 8 bolts. i took all them out and and replaced them with 1/2 hardware. and i still check them after every wheeling trip.

you dont wanna put a pipe in the middle of the puck, then you are just claping down on the pipe and the puck will have virtually no pressure on it.
