I replaced the Ignition control module, distributor cap, coil, wire's, plug's, rotor, and coolant temp sensor. I'll be putting the new distributor that come's with a new pickup coil in tomorrow. I'll let everyone know if all of the above fixed my problem..

I installed my distributor today. I put #1 piston TDC the rotor aligned with #1 spark plug. Tried starting the truck and nothin, turned over but wouldn't start. I got the Haynes manual out to check the firing order and my truck was set up to the 94 and later order. The truck is a 92 so I set it up with the correct order. The truck start's now but run's like crap no mater witch way I turn the distributor. Any idea's on what my problem is????

i have actually already had the gas tank pump filter pickup replaced cuz yeah ive had this prob before. another time it was the relay acting up ive already checked all that though. an interesting thing about mine is when i press the clutch down it can recover until i disengage and then it just bogs out when i press the gas. press the clutch again then the gas - rpms skyrocket. so im doing to try to disengage that safety switch.
anyone know how by any chance?

ok you should be able to bypass it by jumping the 2 red and light blue wires on the switch together
