Nice work so far, I really need to do the same thing in the next year. Also have a rust spot on the right side of my box close to the bumper. I'm not to familiar with metal working so forgive my ignorance but are you going to place sheet metal over those spot welded support pieces and then shape them with an anvil or something? Just trying to get an idea of what I need to do for mine when the time comes.

I'm doing long stand fiberglass resin to fill the space I only got a stick welder and it don't get cold enough to weld that thin metal. Then resupporting the fender with 2 bars like are on the lower corners of the fenders then wen there don't I'm doing the cab corners. And thanks y'all I hope it comes out good.

Trying to weld sheet metal with a stick isin't fun, bout the only thing you can do is small tack welds without blowing a hole. Looking good

I also love the camo painted frame

Looking good. I just have some little rust bubbles under the paint, but I'm selling the bed so I'm not dealing with it.

Welp driverside is perty well done, maybe as few other things here and there but here's the ending.

Then started on the passenger side.

This is what I'm using, from top to bottom.
