Default Help an Ol' Guy w/ 2wd rims/tires ?

Hey everyone,
Have a little cash put back so am doing a few more things on my sloooow moving project on my 95. It's a 95 2WD w/ 302. Still has the stock rims and tire sizes on it. I've lowered the rear 3" and not planning on lowering it anymore. Don't really want a slammed ride. My question is do any of you have some larger rims/tires on your 2WD, setup for the street? I won't be going off road again in it and am actually setting it up to use as an unmarked unit with the gun interdiction team I work with.
I'm wanting to stuff some nice size rear rims/tires on it and 'normal' lookin stuff up front. I'm thinking 17" rims to fill up the wells better. How about it? Anyone got some advice and/or pics of theirs??

i think you can sit pretty with 17"s or 18"s with low profile truck tires.
if the truck is black, white, or red, get black wheels for a sleeker look.
