HELP! Fuel Pump Problem?

HELP! Fuel Pump Problem?
So, I just replaced my fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel level sender, and assembly hanger. I did a dry test once everything was assembled and everything seemed to work, so I reassembled everything and re-installed it into the truck. I filled the tank with ~7 gallons of gas and now it won't start! I can hear the pump initializing, but the engine won't turn over. I've tried to crank it a few times with no luck. Any suggestions?
If its any help its a 92 4.9L with the aft tank.
Thanks!

I thought about the fuel filter, but its relatively new. I suppose that I could have stirred up enough when removing the old equipment to cause a problem.
Also, with your question about the timing. The truck was running before I replaced the original equipment (this started with the need to replace the fuel level sending unit and grew from there).
Thanks!

what do you mean by wont turn over?
not turning over means you turn the key and get nothing.
not firing means the motor turns over but will not start.
what kinda pressure readings are you getting?

Sorry for the lack of clarity. Turning the key gets the engine to crank, but not fire/start. I had to go in to work this afternoon and am planning to get a fuel pressure gauge on the way home. Can you tell me where to hook it up to check the pressure? From what I have seen there is a Schrader valve at the firewall side of the intake manifold. Is that correct? Do I just hook the gauge up and turn the ignition to the "on" position?
Thanks!

So, I just checked the fuel pressure at the rail and there was none in the key "on" position. I also removed the fuel line from the tank side of the fuel filter and there was no pressure there in the key "on" position either. I can hear the pump hum for a second once the key is turned to on, but can it still be possible that there is an issue with the pump?
Thanks!

sounds like you got a bum pump. or it wasn't pushed on all the way when you installed it.
it should run for about 3 seconds once you turn the key to the ON position.

What do you mean when you say, "not pushed on all the way"? Are you talking about the pump on the hanger or the hanger in the tank? Fitting the pump to the hanger seemed like there should have been more of a seal between the receivers in the plastic housing of the pump and the metal tubing on the hanger. Despite that, it went on far enough to easily install the screws to hold it to the hanger.
