Yeah, if you got a rim with less backspacing that stock you're going to be good. Stock wheels, there's no escaping it. I'm looking at 15x10 with 3.75in back spacing, or 2 inch wheel adapters for mine. But I want it for stance, the rub doesn't bother me

Well damn. What problems does the rubbing pose? Is it a real issue

No my truck isnt geared down. My 31's rubbed when I had those on, and my 36's are worse, but i also now have different rims which helped a whole lot. Also if you can't stand your tires rubbing, there are wheel spacers that will give you plenty of room to turn.

Bigger tires carry easier on the highway they just suck to get rolling. If your gonna lift it and you wheel it once in a while i'd go with a 32" toyo mall terrain they are great offroad and last a good amount of time they also dont scream at you.

Im actually leaning toward the Cooper Discoverer ST 31/10.5/15. They shouldnt rub as much as the 32, and i think i should still get good mpg, right? one thing i am wondering though, is how much weight i can tow with them on?

Depends on the load range of the tire. They will most likely be c load range.

Yep its load range C. so i should be fine for what im doing. I think im gunna go with these. Doesnt sound like they really hurt mpg, they last a good bit, good on and off road, self cleaning, and better than the bfg ATKOs in mud. Objections anyone?

your gas milage will be pretty close to the same but it will be like .6 mpg better city and less than a single mpg worse on the highway it wont be a massive difference.
