Mesh grille HELP
I'm trying to make my own mesh grille for my 92 f150 xlt. The custom grilles online don't make one for my model and there expensive anyway. I know where to get the metal mesh but haven't found anything for the trim around the grille to fill the space. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

You can use your original grille and cut out the middle area and insert your mesh into the outer ring of the grille. Then you also have the same mounting holes

The best look is welding a rectangular frame then welding the mesh to that and then bolting the new grille on to the truck grille. IMO just cutting the center of the grille out and throwing a piece of mesh behind it doesn't look great.

I guess it depends on how it's done. I cut the center out of the grill and did mesh. Looks amazing.

Damn that's sick. I wish my **** looked like that. I don't have a welder anymore and I took an alternative cut the back of the grill out but left the chrome & put mesh behind it.
