it ticks faster with revs its the front lifters or one i think

Might be the tappet man. I have heard of those as well. Replacing with the roller rockers might fix it lol.

the thing thats throwing me off is that some days its rell loud then some like today barely there. its constant none the less. it could be sticking but i guess im going to have figure out what kind of roller rockers that i need like pedestal mount 7/16th s stuff like that. my book doesn't say anything about that stuff

lol how is that vacuum leak of yours going? did you fix it? that and the sputtering at speed fixed yet?

Yeah I fixed it. Number 34 and spark plug wires had slipped off. That is a ford for you though still runs on 6 cylinders just about as well as 8 lol. Front fuel pump is noisy now will replace it soon lol.

yeah i ran mine with just 5 down to Portland i pulled in my uncles he told me that one was not firing i didnt even notice it LOL damn wires

Yeah about pissed me off. Only way I found it was by spraying for leaks in the vacuum lines. The fluid caught fire lmfao! Whooooosh!!! Then I saw it arcing finally.
