Default Have you super succeeded the value of your truck

Have you super secceeded the value of you truck weather it kkb or Craiglist value. I`m talking about just in parts and up grades. Not counting your labor on your own truck. Theres alot of nice looking trucks on this forum with larger tires, rims, grills, lights, roll bars, steroes, paint jobs, lift kits etc....... 1: What keeps you going on these older trucks? 2: What did you pay for your truck when you first got it and how much did you put in to it to where it is today? 3: If you had to sell it on Craigslist in one week what do you think you could get out of it?

I got my truck for 50. It's had about 10k of parts, paint, general maintenance in the last eight or so years. I bet I could get 4 to 4500 for it (base model 2wd..)

i started off with 2- 500 dollar trucks, built what you see today, i've got about 3500 at most into it total.

will be a bit more when i finally get new tires on it. but the tires run about 2k so yeah....

i wouldnt take a dime less than 7500 bucks for it.

Paid 1000 for the truck 2 1/2 years ago. Dumped about 5000 into it with plans in the making. I'll have about 12k in it when all said and done. What keeps me going with this truck? I love this truck.

I'm maybe $2500 in on mine and I still have a ways to go...but I figure I'll draw the line at $10k because that's what my folks paid for it in '94. I plan on keeping it though...I learned to drive in this truck. Too much sentimental value to put a price on.

Truck was purchased new in 88. About three years ago spent about 8 to 9k to have it restored. It is soon to be my sons who will be spending more money to have it lifted and that goes with that.

to anyone else Yes I have Financially totaled my truck 2 times now, Sentimental value Not even made a dent into it yet considering I might consider selling my truck for around 2,000,000,000,000.00 Just for the sentimental value of my truck alone
