hey adamst, quick question. does your truck have a floor shifter 4x4 or is it a manual? i was doing some more reading on installing a body lift and saw that if you have floor shifters or anything like that, they may need extended or cutting may be involved. i didnt know if you had to worry about that at all.
ya its a 5 speed with a manual 4x4 shifter they give you a peice of steel to weld in the the gear shift but i didnt like it so i just heated it and bent it till i got it not to hit the tunnel worked quite well. I did the same with the 4x4 shifter just heated it and straitened out the first bend in it and it work great there not to short either.

haha thats awesome. just one or two bushings at a time then? also, whats the diameter of the lift bushings? and length of the bolts. i can make a lift set at work if you remember the dimensions off hand. i make plastic rod and boards they'd be perfect for that.
All you do is loosen all the bolts on one side and remove the bolts on the other side. So when you jack up the side you removed the bolts from the side that there loose on will hold the cab from sliding off the frame. then just repeat for other side. I also still have to content instrutions from the kit ill post a pic of the bolt sizes for ya and i have a block left over i can measure if i can find it.

Hmmm. Makes me wonder if that technique would be good for getting some POR on the frame top....
