Default got the body lift done pics

ok fellas finally got the rest of my truck done i previously had put in a 3 inch suspension lift in it and i put a new clutch in, new rear end, rear brakes e brake cables u joints on rear drive shaft had to rebuild transfer case chain broke in the original,to much to list. So this time i did all my front end work i put in new ball joints, wheel bearings, spindle bearings, shocks, the rest of the u joints, pads and rotors, pivot bushings, radius arm bushings, a new tps sensor, washer pump, and a 3 inch body lift, also re routed the exhaust from out the back bumper to behind the tires. i have some before and after pics of the body lift.

that shock tower is looking a little rusty but she's good looking truck! did you do the body lift yourself?

do all my work my self took about 7 to 8 hours to put the body lift in. Them coil towers are rusty but there still solid.

they look much better than mine did. my drivers side tower was rusted and cracked all the way through before i noticed lol

and how did you lift the bed and cab and such to put it in yourself?

all i used to lift the cab and box was a 2 ton floor jack and about a 2ft 2x4 and a 12 pack of bud light

haha thats awesome. just one or two bushings at a time then? also, whats the diameter of the lift bushings? and length of the bolts. i can make a lift set at work if you remember the dimensions off hand. i make plastic rod and boards they'd be perfect for that.

Looks good. But the older front bumper is really Hard to look at! If you had the stock front bumper sitting up where it should and some bigger tires it would look much better.

hey adamst, quick question. does your truck have a floor shifter 4x4 or is it a manual? i was doing some more reading on installing a body lift and saw that if you have floor shifters or anything like that, they may need extended or cutting may be involved. i didnt know if you had to worry about that at all.

ya the only reasong the old style bumer is on it is so i could get the brush guard up on it the were both of my 81 f250. i want to get 2 peices of 4 inch steel pipe and make a new bumper for it.
