Here are some pictures!
I removed both tanks (leaking) and Bypass Valve. Bought new front tank 100 new sending unit 100 fuel pump on the frame rail. 100 Bought all new High pressure fuel line and hose clamps 19 feet New brake line all the way back 14 feet lol My switch stays on front tank and my gauge works again! Took a week to get parts and "3" 8hr days alone. 2 people to lift bed off and on is all it takes. |

So to get bed bolts off I had to cut them in half between frame and bed frame. They all spun while trying to break lose. After bed was off I pumped fuel out and sold lol.. Then I dropped both tanks and bypass valve. I had to replace a rear spring braket I noticed and scraped a lot of rust but I know now how strong the truck still is! I used 6inch rubber flat hose and cut strips to cover tank to frame/strap locations. I re-ran my wire harness to the top of the frame so no brake fluid or gas leaks will drip onto my wires in the future (stupid ford) wires on top lines on bottom common sense! while changing bracket brake line started to leak so I replaced it all the way to the abs unit on the frame rail. Yes this is the first year for rear anti-lock brakes lol JUNK lol anyways then I made sure nothing was gonna touch (fuel supply/return lines,Wires,Vacuum line to tank, and filler tube was in the right place then had a friend help me put the bed back on. New bolts in the bed and reconnect taillights. Sounds easy but time is what it takes as well as a good back lol mine killls. More pics step by step being posted in my garage profile.
