im going with the DJM kit that was used in the lightning on trucks! but should i go with the 3in front with the 4 inch drop or the 5inch drop in the back?? will the 4 inch drop in the rear make the truck look even or will the 5 inch make the body look even? Seems like there's about 2" difference between the front and rear. Take a tape measure and check the height from the ground to the front of your running boards, compared to the height at the rear end of them. Round it up, and that should give you a close idea. My bet is that you'll want to go 3/5 for a level look.

i did the three in the front and 4 in the back but i also took a leaf out of the leaf spring pack. the 4" in the rear is 2" from the front spring hanger and 2" from the rear spring hanger. If you do the 5" i believe thats an axle flip, which in my opinion, means your going to have very little travel in your rear suspension.

yeah the 5inch is a flip.. it comes with a flip kit... you think i should just stick with the 3/4?

Sorry... didn't realize an axle flip was involved. An axle flip sounds like a real pain, and would logically reduce your travel to the minimal range. I think I like dixie's idea to use the 3/4 drop and pull a leaf out of the back.

i will tell you a 3/4 is what i recommend but it isn't level like your looking for. its nose down, but i love that look. Pro street as i call it. but then again, i have big rear tires and smaller fronts, so maybe with even tires it would be closer.

I do really like both looks... but i was thinking and im just gonna stick with the regular 3/4 option... just in case if i need to load something and i will always need to use the sandbags in the winter...

if you like both looks, then do the 3/4 and DO NOT pull a leaf out, that will kill your payload rating, i don't haul anything but *** so didn't hurt mine, but sand bags are heavy.

ok sounds good... do u think the 18's with 255/55's with fit the front still after the drop?

yeah, i think so, i've seen 20's but i don't remeber the tire profile size.
