Any benefit/detriment in bypassing smog pump 1996 4.9 california emission
I dont hate the environment. but if its sucking HP or making issues, I would just assume not run it. But if its not hurting anything then I wont bother it.

Not hurting anything and as long as it not seizing, I would leave it alone. Take it off, then you have to find a shorter serpentine belt to fit and pass emission test if you have one.
