fuel tank sending unit question
I have an '87 F-150 2WD with dual gas tanks. Can anyone tell me what the resistance range of the side tank sending unit should be? Mine runs from 12.5 ohms empty to 46.1 ohms full. Is this normal? I just replaced the sending unit in the back tank and it runs 12.3 ohms empty and 163 ohms full. Big difference at the full end. Thanks for your help.
