Fuel Tank selector valve....

I have a 92 150 with 302 and dual tanks..Front tan is FULL and I am running the Rear tank..as when I select the front tank..truck dies..I am wondering if the front tank pump is shot..OR if the selector valve switch on dash is bad..I am learning the ford fuel sys on ole Red and need advice..

Thanks

Sounds like the pump.

You don't have a selector valve. The switch is just an electrical switch.

Hmmm..how easy is it to get to backside to check for voltage at both ends..Guess I will grab multimeter..see if its live or broke..Looked for fuel pumps..front side is up there $$
