Default 302 Power

I'm looking to get some more power out of my 302 for a reasonable price. I'm looking at GT40 heads and maybe an Edelbrock intake and a cam. Any recommendations?

Speed Density or MAF...?

Tire size....

Rear end gears......

exhaust size and headers?

any other info you can give...
