Default Update!!!!!!!!

Well, I think I got the old girl fixed.

Got my distributor, TFI module, and coil installed this afternoon and took it for a test drive. It run great, no problems that I could tell.

I did install one part at a time and then try running the truck to see what part might be the culprit and it turned out the be the distributor. When I got it pulled out, I could hardly turn the shaft with my hand. I went head and put the new TFI module on the distributor since you can't return elec. parts.

I do want to think everyone (ymeski56, Just call me Sean, mgranata, 94Bronc, just to name a few) who has posted on this thread to help me out. Maybe I will be able to pass along the information I have picked up along the way to somebody else one day.

No doubt! When you go through it from beginning to end, you get it down. Something you wouldn't get by writing a check to a repair shop! You now effectively have a new ignition system. I'm betting a lot of trouble free miles ahead.
