No, they won't be interchangeable...might as well buy a new sending unit for the front tank...it's alot easier to pull the bed off than to drop the tank.

For me it is...If you've gotta drop both tanks...why not just pull 6 bolts and yank the bed off? Then it's still driveable and you don't have to worry bout spillin a full tank of gas over.
