Front Spring Tower Replacement 92-96 F150
#31
The towers are riveted into the frame from the factory. To remove the old rusted/broken towers, you will have to grind down/punch the old rivets out. After all the rivets are removed, there are holes (6 total) in their place. The new towers are held in place by a bolt with a nut threaded onto the bolt on the backside of each of the holes. The nut threads onto the bolt, so there is No need for threads on the frame.

I only replaced the passenger side tower on my truck, but once the rivets were out, all the hardware that came with the tower were able to go back in relatively easy. Removing the rivets was 98.7% of the work on the job. I didnt even need a spring compressor to remove/replace the spring. ( I did all the work on a lift, so suspension was at full droop )
