my old '92 had them, looks like the universal hooks you can buy but these were black and had the ford emblem on the side of them.

What did they mount to? Did they go through the bumper?

thanks guys. and id be using it for a winch mount. this winters been rough as hell. ive only been stuck once but ive helped other people out quite a few times, and thats a little tricky with a 2wd sometimes. and thanks, ill have to check out this etrailer.com, and thanks for the pics too, gives me a little better idea how much room ill be working with.

i made my own and bolted it up to where the front skid plate went. had to remove the sway bar though. then i got a winch bumper that had one.

I wish i could afford a winch bumper. And if i remember correctly the holes for the skid are rather puny are they not?? How did that hold up under stress??
