Well as an update to this thread I found out the spindle and knuckle are one piece on a 2wd. I found one locally in good condition from a 93 for $40. My plans for tomorrow are to install the new to me spindle and new bearings, seals, and hub/rotor on the passenger side.

I have a question. Should I get new ball joints now and replace them while I got it apart or re use my old ball joints which still seem to be good?

If your in there and have the tools for ball joints. Getter done. But 2wd isn't as time consuming as 4 wheel

For what they cost, you should get new ones. Then you will have accomplished an improvement rather than just a repair. Most of the cost of new ball joints is the labor, so since you're doing the labor anyway ...

Well guys good news I got her back on the road. Decided to get new ball joints like y'all said, and I went with Moog. Wasn't cheap but they seem like great quality parts. Now I just gotta replace the other side in the spring.

It all went back together good. Didn't have access to a good impact wrench so i had to turn the ball joint press with a wrench but it wasn't too hard. Drives better now and no more noises.

Did you run into frustration of any kind when replacing the ball joints? Getting ready to do it myself. I can rent the press, but anything worthy to note in replacement process?

Things that would've made it easier on me would have been a better vice to hold the knuckle and a better impact wrench. But otherwise they went in pretty easy. Clean up the bores in the knuckle real good and put some lubricant on the ball joints before pressing them in. Also check to make sure the ball joints come with everything before leaving the parts store. My upper ball joint didn't come with a grease zerk so I had to go back to get one. Also I recommend the Moog joints

Make sure the balljoints are tapped for the zerk also. I bought some moog stuff a while back that was drilled but not tapped. We even installed it and spent 20-30 min trying to get the zerk in before we realized
