Default front axle from a 99 f25o swap into my 96

There is a front axle set up for sale by me off a 99 f250, will this swap into my 96 f250 like one from our generation? Thanks

yes, im not exactly sure what you need but it can/has been done. check out powerstrokenation or powerstroke.org. they both have probably 10 write ups on how to do it.

Yes it is a relatively easy swap.
The superduty axles spring perches are a little wider then our trucks. I have seen guys do a few different things to make it work.

Some guys just fab up a front crossmember with the correct spring width and then some hangers/shackles on the rear.
This way of doing the swap is good for a few reasons: you gain lift depending on the xmember you build and moving your shackle from the front to the rear improves the ride and handling of the truck.

Another "simpler" way of doing it is to grind some of the thick cast housing to make a wider driver side spring perch and drill a new centre pin hole.
Then weld on a new passenger side spring
perch.

You'll have to swap a rear sterling 10.5 from a 99 to current superduty to get the same 8 on170mm bolt pattern as your new front solid axle.

That's a good deal!
You'll want the steering from the solid axle.
Just like any axle swap the front drive shaft may need modified.
The rear drive shaft should be fine with the 10.5.
