Default 89 F150 been setting for a year...

Before it was parked last year I did get a tune up done to it, plugs, cap, button, new wires, and the truck did run fine and now after its been parked it still does start easy, no cranking of the engine, turn the key and it starts .... and the idle is a little rough, but after a little bit it seems to smooth out some....I do intend to change the oil and filter.....
Do I need to do anything else to it before I put it on the road ?.....
Like to hear your thought on this if I may....thanks..

Change the fuel filter and clean the IAC real good....maybe even swap the plug wires...or at the very least check them for cracking.

Get new fuel before you drive it anywhere. That fuel has gone to **** (If you didn't put any fuel storage type additive to it).

You also might want to move just a little instead of just driving off to check the brakes.

No I didnt put anything in the fuel when I parked it....

Think there was like maybe a 1/4 tank of fuel in it when I did park it and since then I have put new fuel in it from time to time before I started it and moved it around in the yard...

The fuel filter, Ill be sure to change it....thanks guys...

might as well run some seafoam through her that'll help your idle. dont forget to check all your fluids(level and quality)
