Smile floor panel....

ok well hey im 15 and ill be driveing in amonth or two my dad just got me an 88 ford f150 4x4 v8 5spd and we drove it home and found out it has a power steering leak not such a big deal but the drivers side floor panel is rusted through and rocker pretty much gone we cant afford a welder so we have to do it our slefs and we wanna know what to do and what to buy to slove this problem since its my frist car and hopefully will be my mudding truck it only has 130k on it so thanks for listening

ok this is going to sound very ren neck and all but this is what we did to fix a hand rail at my work... for your floor panel get the sheet meatel that you need... cut it to fit the whole that your ganna fix.... here comes the red neck part.... get some of those meatel close hangers that you can buy at wal mart or were ever with out the plastic coating on it... get a map gas toruch too... use the hanger as a welding rod and the torch to heat it up so you can weld it on.... hope this makes since i'm trying not to fall a sleep... good luck...

haha thats not as redneck as how my buddy fixed a hole in his floor pan...

he used tar and some shingles off a roof

road signs (stop signs, street signs, etc.) and bubble gum.... now thats redneck.... haha just kiddin.... but the street sign thing would be ideal for a floor panel since they dont rust, its just the "stealing them is highly illegal" thing lol
