I''d go w/ a single hi-capacity Cat w/ full flow glasspack. Make sure they go up a pipe size at the Y! Your performance increase will be noticable at best. An ignition system uprade w/ timing bump is in your best interest for performance & MPG sake. Who cares what it sounds like, if your truck performance is just average? Work on the other end of the horse!

well that end of the horse is a lot more expensive and im 16 and my dad wont pay for that end either...anybody got an opinion on the sound of I6 with cats and a 22in thrush glass pack or a thrush welded?

The cats aren't for sound they're for emissions. Cats or no cats it will sound about the same, the muffler will change the sound.

how much do you think? will a glasspack on a i6 sound deep or kinda whiny? And what acout the thrush welded?
