a few questions about 351 W
I've tried to search for answers here, and I failed, so please don't kill me
1. The engine I'm going to buy comes from '91 vehicle. Obviously, it's OBDI. Is it worth it to install OBDII computer? What else do I have to replace in this case? Is there any difference between OBDII computers for AT & MT ? Does OBDII ECU for manual transmission exist at all? I wasn't able to find one so far.
2. What do you all think about hydraulic roller camshaft upgrade? Do I understand it right that I'll need only an upgrade kit with walve springs? I don't have to have a Lightning engine for this, right?
3. What brand engine rebuild kit do you recommend? I don't want something very expencive, but I'd like to "rebuild and forget", if possible
Thanks in advance

I wouldn't put all that into it, you don't need it. I'd simply listen to your machine shops advise of which way to go. It's a truck, and if you make it run like a mustang you will regret it. No torque for trucken. With F150 N you want gut wrenching torque to pull you out.

lost my Car again...
odb1 to odb2 is not worth it i think there is way to many problems with the sensors and the dash systems
hydrolic lifters are already in the engines i believe but upgrading just the lifters might not be worth the work
rebuild kits try and get a complete kit don't buy anything of ebay because most of them are crappy knock offs so go with a company that has some kind of warranty and a fair return policy not really sure of a "good" brand for rebuld kits other them ford motor craft?

2 - i found this thing on ebay. I'm also not sure if I want it, but it seems that lifters are not included to a rebuild kit anyway. I just want it to last, so opinions are welcomed.

Returning to OBDII topic... I found a donor, it's a '96 5.8L Bronco. It'll be a hell of a lot of work, but anyway I think it's the best option I currently have. So - since it's a '96, I assume it's OBDII. And because it's a Bronco, it comes with A4OD. I guess I will have all the wiring and sensors I might possibly need, but I'd like to keep my M5OD tranny. Will the engine work properly in this case?
Update - the question had answered itself. I don't think it's worth it to buy that Bronco for $5k. It's not worth it to buy it at all, to be honest. And yes, something's very wrong with prices in here. I will buy a heap of parts including engine for $1.7k and return with my old repairing thread in a few weeks, when I'll rent one more garage.

Ok, so it figures that Lunati is worth buying? That's good news - buying from ebay is a bit more simple for me than ordering parts directly - some companies prefer not to trust Russians
