I've got an '89 long bed with the 300, I've read that 2.5" exhaust is the way to go, but I've had a hard time finding any. Any suggestions on what to get? Trying to maximize fuel economy and get a good low rumble.

True dual 2.5 inch, no cats, and flowmasters. Pretty loud, sounds pretty good for a I6

I have 2.5inch piping, no cats y-collector connecting to the pipe and the pipe going to a flowmaster 40

i have one cat after the y pipe and fun a Cherry Bomb Extreme (single in single out) with about a foot of piping after it to a turndown. Sounds real nice. Cherry Bomb Extreme is about 60 bucks cheaper than flowmaster hahah
