Default F150 supper duty ??????

is there such a thing as an F150 supper duty?
why does my '95 F150 4X4 4.9 auto trans ,auto hubs
have four shocks on the front end?

Good question! It may have been an off road package back in the day. I don't think it was uncommon. They have so many models, options and packages it's hard to keep track and remember them all! Also, it may have been retrofitted by a previous owner. Hard to say.

There wasn't a super duty until 89 but only in f450 f550. The f250-350 super duty was in 1998 or 1999. Yours is most likely either a offload package or a aftermarket swap.

No, but as others have pointed out, it could have been part of a package or an aftermarket thing. I can't think of anything else it could be.

ok ,thank you, must be off road package,because the tower that holds the two shocks and the spring are factory rivited to the frame
I will have to get her body cancer taken care of ,and take he out ,get her all dirty and try to break some thing else LOL

I have a 4.9 Super Duty

In all seriousness, the quad shock front end was an option. Just a heavier duty half ton front end

it was called the trailer tow or heavy trailer package...dont know the exact name
