Default F150 to 1 ton













Well I wasn't going to post pics up but I have the flash drive in and bored. Still a long ways to go but my recent upgrades.
dana 60 front w/ leaf spring
sterlin 10.25 rear w/ disk brakes
4.88 gears
American force rims
ram air hood

What made you decide to go with leafs in the front instead of finding a axle set up for coils.

Nothing really, other than I wanted the leafs.

The leafs are simpler but don't ride as good and have a bad turning radius.

It's really the look I was going for. The ride is stiff but I can handle that. I have a daily driver. This is more of a show truck.

Did you have to box off the crumple zones for leafs up front. I would be interested in seeing a pic if how you did it if you get a chance.
