Default Exhaust Help Wanted

Going to be getting a quote soon to get my exhaust done, but need to order my exhaust parts. Truck is a 95 F-150 4x4 302, with the ignition bump. Looking to get longtube headers, 2 hi flow cats 3 inch stainless dual pipes, 45 out the bumper with an xpipe for the 02. Parts I need to order is the Headers, exhaust studs, gaskets, Hi-flow cats(preferably cherry bomb cats). What do you guys recommend for the headers, studs and gaskets? and what cherry bomb cats? I was looking at these cats.

Do you know of any better hi-flow cats? Going to get the exhaust fully welded up by the way. Also need header adapters 3 inch if you can find some.

have an exhaust shop custom make it all except the headers, cats, and mufflers if you've found the ones you want. that'd probably be the easiest

What do you guys think about these 2 headers and will these bolt right up? Which one should I buy? Can you post links of headers you use?

Can you post the link of the exact headers you used? Did you have to modify anything to get them to bolt right in? Also post the link of the hi-flows you used. Did a shop do your exhaust or did you buy prebent exhaust? Also your video doesn`t work, can you post a new one here?

My idea of the best exhaust would be, your choice of headers, exhaust pipe welded to the bottom header flange, new "v-band" flanges welded into the pipe right after the headers, flexpipe after the v-band connectors, then 2.5" pipe out the back with your choice of mufflers & tips. Seems to me that on every set of headers I have seen, the bottom exhaust flange bolts always walk or vibrate loose! You could expect that to run in the ballpark of $500 or so. Not cheap, but it would be an all new bigger exhaust system with the best flanges (IMO) and flex pipes inline to let the engine twist a little.

I installed Headman header for Gen 1 Lightning, when I swapped 351 into truck. But the do make them for 302 for our trucks. But they bolted without any modifiying. And I ordered some mandrel bent 45* from summit to come off collectors and had exhaust shop make couple tubes to muffler and tail pipes. Also go the magnaflo muffler with dual in and dual out.

My exhaust is 2.5" from front to rear. And I didnt run any cats. But any hiflo cat should work for what you're doing. Can see more pictrures and info on my truck here -----> http://www.cardomain.com/ride/314151...50-regular-cab

Will try and get video loaded back.
