I've got a small flowmaster for each pipe that goes under the cab and it sounds AMAZING!! I've actually driven next to a first gen lightning with a flowmaster and it sounded exactly the same!

96f1504.9, do you know what model the flowmasters are by any chance?? i have a single pipe into a single inlet, dual outlet magnaflow right now.. it sounds okay, and looks good, but i am definitely interested in the dual flowmasters..

I dont think they made a V6 4.9l for the 9th gens.
a stanless steel 2 1/2 inch pipe and a glasspack is loud and cost me about 240 bucks with a cat

I have no idea why. From what I can tell my truck came stock with a dual exhaust manifolds down to 2 pipes. That's where my mufflers are. Rite under where the cab meets the bed. I think stock that may have gone into one pipe but idk.

your truck with the dual manifolds is supposed to go into a dual to single cat (thats how they came from the factory)
