Ever jacked up a 2 wheel drive truck?
K so I am use to people giving me crap about the way I do things. I am different and I wear that badge with pride, but would I be a total tool if I raised my two wheel drive truck with a 3 "body lift, 4" sus, and 33" tires? I dont care to get a 4x4 cause what I have is great I just want it high. Motors new and so is trans along with most everything else on the truck. Its one of the best 91's ive seen, but its just a few steps away from being what I see in my mind.
I already get crap for putting the camper shell on but I am fairly committed to finishing this thing the way I want it. I painted my camper shell to match the truck and bought a tool box with no side rails so it fits in the bed with the camper on. All I need to do is lift.
Anyone ever done this? Maybe if you did do it and have some pictures it would help me make up my mind. If you have any comments in general about my idea then speak up.

Great look, but w/ the tires size increase & lift, that combination, along w/ that OPEC agreed to breach to $100/ barrel of oil mark & intends on parking there for a while, you will be a tool to your gas tank! But if the added fuel cost is not an issue & that's what you want, why not!

For the People
The only people who will make fun of you are the 4x4 purists... I fully intend on leveling out me 2wd, and maybe putting a 3-4" suspension lift on it down the road. It's your truck, make it look the way you like!

here's something i found that might interest you.. this guy has a 2wd and it looks good.. i especially like what he did to the truck for a little more power.

I have a 92 150 custom 2wd. Big cab 2 door with full bed and straight six five speed. It's my daily driver/work vehicle. Love the truck and the way it looks but want to lift the susp. I have front springs for " up to 6 in lift" . I think it might be too much but would be happy with 3"-5" lift. had the springs for almost a year just haven't had time or money to install em yet. I say go for it.
