Default headache rack for a 96 half ton

hey. im new here. great site! i was wondering if anyone here has built a headache rack for our pre 97 trucks? i like the look and that i cant break the window out chucking firewood in the bed. im just sorta looking for designs,measurements,etc. thanks for any help. and i have a 96 halfton long bed xlt with 3" body lift and 33s. planning on throwing a 6" suspension and runnin 38s!!!!!! so ya if anyone has any picturues or info or whatever that would be great. thanks in advance

Lots of ideas available from Googling and looking at commercially made units. Some tubing, wire mesh, and a welder would get the job done.

I have a Rack-it lumber rack I bought used, for which they make a add-on for this. I plan to DIY something similar. The rack provides for the frame and will cut wire mesh to size to fit inside the frame and make some brackets to attach it to the frame.
