well went to replace the 02 sensor..sprayed it with then penatrating **** let it sit for 1.5 hrs...took a wrench to it and it just stripped..tryed vise grips not a chance stripped it more..

any ideas on what i can try now?

I actually just aw an O2 sensor socket at the store yesterday and thought to myself, "I should get one...I bet it'll help with not stripping it out..."

You need a better pair of vice grips, maybe larger too.

Put a little heat on the bung as well, will help expand the threads.

The sensor has ceramic material inside it.. cut the wires off...get a pipe wrench behind the nut flats..pull down and break it..Might have to work it some..but it will come off as the ceramic breaks inside..WATCH you EYES..wear saftey glasses or something..this will give you a shorter distance to fit a socket over the actual Nut Flats..then if you have to get a deep socket (Impact preferably) or a stripped bolt remover socket..Hammer it on take off with Breaker bar (your gonna have to have some leverage) or better yet a Impact tool..
