Electrical or Fuel Issue?
My 1993 F-150, 5.8 litre 4x4 Lariat has been hesitating, or feeling like I hit a small bump in the road every so often. Local mechanic says replace the plugs and wires. Old farmer says it sounds like your fuel pump is going. (he heard something when my wife went to get some hay)
Engine is used with 90,000km and was put in 5,000 km ago by a reputable dealership. Truck is 300,000km. Wires are good, and new plugs were put in then. (I`m not that mechanical, and the plugs look like they are tough to get at.
Since I am not working, I`m trying to get as much info as possible to hopefully, get things dealt with as cheap as possible.
Thoughts?

Check to see if you have any fault codes. Check your fuel pressure. Make sure all your wire connections are good in the engine bay. Pay particular attention to those related to ignition and grounds.
