EGR and tps failures-is it driveable?

My 1992 f150 5.0 aod automatic is not idling. It is giving code for egr and throttle position sensor errors. I need to drive it about 6 miles (up a steep grade) to get it to a location where I can work on it. I was wondering if I can drive it if i keep throttling it to keep it running, or will I have big issues trying to get it up that hill? I just know it won't idle and is hard to start when it dies. I haven't driven it with the TP error so I am not sure if it will run ok beyond idling. Any input appreciated.

put the truck in nuetral, and rev it up for a few minutes and see how it runs

Don't pick a word or the name of a part out of a code definition - read, understand, & post the WHOLE thing, for each code.

This caption explains how to test the TPS:

The NEXT one explains most of the others. This one explains the EGR system:

You can't fix anything by revving the engine.

no you cant fix anything by reving the engine. i said that because hes hasnt ran it passed idle since the issue started

Yeah I ran it past idle, I tried to drive it but it kept dying.
Some questions on the EEC. Does the EEC have to learn things after power disconnect, like a newer car? Such as Fuel/air mixture and things like that.
I don't believe that it does but I thought I would ask. This problem started after I unhooked the battery. Actually, I drove it for about 10 miles after that and it was fine.
All I have done to it since I bought it last week is change the oil, added tranny fluid, and changed the spark plugs. Shouldn't have triggered any codes...
I am going to test the TPS this weekend when I have a chance. 332 & 122 are the codes I am getting. Runs fine with the 332 code, not driveable with the 122 code.
Thanks for all your advice.

Yes, the EEC forgets how it has adapted to the aging engine when the battery is disconnected for >2min. But it will still run while it's re-learning those adaptions (over the next 20~50 miles).

Any time you mention a code, post the number and the COMPLETE definition so we don't have to go look them up.

The trans in a '92 is distinctly the E4OD - not the 4R100.

I changed my TPS and the truck runs fine now. The check engine light still comes on. I am still not 100% sure of how this works. Will it go off after the 40
warm up cycles? I need to go have it smog tested so I can register it, but it won't pass with the check engine light on. Should I unhook the battery and reboot the
EEC? I am still getting the same codes as before, 122 (oc) TP circuit below minimum voltage and 332 EGR valve opening not detected. Will these codes go away
after a certain period of time if everything is fixed? Or is it signifying that I still have a problem?

Thanks for your expertise.

Read the caption of the first thumbnail I posted.

I have read it many times, I do not see an answer to my exact questions.

Did you follow the link to the complete procedure, and read that? That caption is a STARTING point - not an end.
