Default eBay Listing- What do you think?

Here's a ranger that someone put a 351 and a mustang t5 manual in. Says it doesn't run. Also has an 8.8 with 4.10 gears. What do you guys think? I'm thinking about grabbing it, how much would you pay for it?

Sounds like a major crap-shoot. For the current price though you could part it out and easily triple your money. If you're close and have the time, ability, and resources then go for it. Personally I would pass on it but I can see the potential in it. Ranger Sleeper.

Exactly. It's about an hour away from me. I have a buddy with a flatbed, so I can get it home. The guy says it ran then it sat for a few years, and he hasn't tried to start it again. I'll assume it doesn't run. I don't think it's spent its whole life in Michigan, because there's like no rust in the common spots, wheel wells, cab corners, door bottoms, radiator support.. I'm also worried that the T5 isn't stout enough for the 351w. Does anyone have specific questions it would be good to ask the guy? I've wrenched a lot, but I'm very new to buying cars.

How much do you think it's worth?

The box and tailgate are probably worth 7 - 800. Do the math from there.
An hour away is nothing. Keep it under 1000 and you should be able to get your money back if it isn't worth fixing up.

Well I picked it up for $660. It should be a pretty fun summer project. Thanks for the advice guys.
