Hey Guys; A E4Od.... is that a three speed with OD? Or do I have Four speeds plus OD? sometimes it look to me that it shifts three times??

4 gears, 4th is overdrive.

it's basically five gears but OD does not count as a gear just rebuilt mine. Pain in the *** fighting the od the whole time

Count the shifts... You put it drive that's first...(shift) second, drive a bit...(shift) third a bit more(shift) fourth made a mistake on my upper post, meant to put 4 gears. Dint know what I was thinking.

E4OD = Electronic 4 speed overdrive tranmission... Was released after the AOD= Automatic over drive.... This is in my 32'.....

Thanks a lot guys
I use the OD as an extra gear...; under 50mph OD off/ above 50 on. It's better for the tranny and a bit more revs better for the crankshaft. All I can say is: "what a truck!!!!"

The shift from 2 to thirth is a bit chunky with low revs; what can I do about it?
