You won't be disappointed. As I mentioned, once you get to that quality level, you're just splitting hair's one way or another. It's a solid product.

Do you run into the same issues (i.e. leaking) when switching a high-mileage transmission from conventional to synthetic that would would when switching a high-mileage motor over?

I didn't. But when I dropped the Tranny pan to replace the filter, I replaced the gasket anyway.
